ARTitudes, Inc. is a group of local artists organized for the purpose of giving outstanding local craftspeople a venue for showing and selling their artwork. Our goal is to provide a showcase and sales outlet for these artists and partnering with Lincoln-based charities by donating a percentage of all sales to the chosen charity partner at our events.

ARTitudes, Inc. is pleased to announce that we have been invited to participate in a charity fundraiser on behalf of the Peoples’ Health Center of Lincoln, Nebraska and preside over their art show and sale November 5 and 6, 2010. As a co-sponsor for this event we will be donating our proceeds to this important local charity and we hope to include you as one of our talented artists.
The Peoples’ Health Center will host a reception for artists, patrons and invited guests on Friday evening, November 5, from 5:30pm until 9:00pm and the weekend event will be open to the public Saturday, November 6, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. The Friday evening event is also open to the public with donations requested at the door. Our location has been confirmed and we will be in the former site of Duteau Chevrolet on the north side of 18th and O Streets. This space is quite large with ample parking on the street and in the lot north of the building and we will have no problem accommodating a large group of artists. We are extremely excited about this location with excellent visibility and accessibility.
As always and what is unique about ARTitudes’ events is that artists need not be present for the entire show and sale. We will have a central checkout system for all artwork, collect all money, sales taxes, credit card fees, and the like and send the artists’ their checks following the show. As this is a charity event, a 20% commission will be deducted from all sales and that entire amount is donated to the Peoples’ Health Center.
In addition, we encourage you to copy the enclosed application form for any of your creative friends and family for them to fill out and return with photos of their work. Everyone will be welcome to participate.
